Osprai includes specialised AI agents that go beyond simple document Q&A. Each agent is designed for a specific type of task and has access to different tools and capabilities.
Available agents
Talon: Default Assistant
Talon is Osprai's default AI assistant. It handles general document queries, search, and analysis across your entire workspace.
What Talon does:
- Answers questions about your uploaded documents
- Searches across all document types (specs, drawings, manuals, datasheets)
- Cross-references information from multiple sources
- Provides answers with source citations
When to use Talon:
- General document questions
- Specification lookups
- Cross-document analysis
- First-time queries on new documents
Talon is active by default. You don't need to do anything special to use it.
Kari: Project Agent
Kari is a specialised agent designed for project-level work. It has deeper context about your active project and can perform more complex analysis tasks.
What Kari does:
- Works within the context of a specific project
- Performs multi-step analysis across project documents
- Understands project structure (phases, trades, systems)
- Provides more detailed, project-aware responses
When to use Kari:
- Complex project-specific questions
- Multi-document analysis within a project
- System-level queries ("What does the signal path look like?")
- When you need deeper project context in answers
How to invoke Kari:
Type @Kari at the beginning of your message in Chat, or use the Agent pill in the chat toolbar to select Kari.

Kari works best within a Project. Create a project and add relevant documents for the best experience.
Choosing the right agent

Tips
- You can switch agents mid-conversation. Start with Talon for quick lookups, then bring in Kari for deeper analysis
- Kari remembers your project context across messages, so follow-up questions get increasingly focused
- Both agents support English and French queries
